Sunday School at Lewis Memorial for 2009

Sunday School provides an opportunity for persons to delve deeper into God’s word, the Bible, in an age- appropriate setting. It also gives persons an opportunity to belong to a small group, where they can get to know each other better and provide support, love and care for one another. Here, at Lewis Memorial, there are classes for all ages.

Sunday School meets each Sunday morning from 9:45 — 10:45 AM. Read below to find out what is available for all ages. Maps of Campus are posted on the walls. If you have further questions, please contact Lucy Nel, Sunday School Superintendent, Mike Thompson, Assistant Sunday School Superintendent, or Cindy Vinson, Ministries Assistant

Our Children's Sunday School

We are using the Rock Solid curriculum in all of our children’s classes. It is a basic, comprehensive, four-year Bible Study that enables children and the adults who work with them to experience God through Jesus Christ. Rock Solid will help children and the adults who work with them:
Develop a deep and life-giving relationship with God
Respond in faith to Jesus Christ’s redeeming love
i Seek and trust the guidance of the Holy Spirit
Recognize the Holy Bible as the Word of God, the primary guide for faith and practice
Identify themselves as children of God and grow in discipleship, exploring the calls of God, the teachings of Jesus, and the witness of the church.
Younger children should be dropped off and picked-up by their parents at their room. The ages/grades listed below are as of September 1, 2008.
