United Methodist Women

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Lewis Memorial’s UMW meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Fellowship Hall.

Circle of Sisters

The Circle of Sisters provides an opportunity for women of all ages to meet together in small groups for bible study and fellowship. Our main purpose is to draw women closer to the Lord while establishing a strong connection with other ladies of Lewis Memorial. Group size is kept to a minimum to encourage deeper relationships while maintaining confidentiality. Most groups meet weekly on various days and times for a relaxed time of prayer and devotion. Contact the church office for a list of established groups or information about how to begin a new circle.

Retreats and Special Events

LMUMC’s Women’s ministry and individual circles provide many wonderful additional opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship throughout the year. Child care is available upon request at no charge for in town events. Watch the bulletin, newsletter and website for special events.
