Where do I park?
To the right of the Sanctuary there is a designated parking area for visitors. We also have two additional parking areas.
How should I dress?
While some folks like to wear their “Sunday best,” many wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday morning and Wednesday night. During the summer months, we especially encourage everyone to dress appropriately casual.
Do I need to bring anything?
If you have a Bible, bring it with you to church. Then you’ll be able to follow along with the sermon.
When should I get there?
Sunday services begin at 8:00, and 10:00 am in the Sanctuary. Our Contemporary Worship begins at 11:00 am in the Warehouse in the metal building directly behind the Sanctuary. Sunday school begins at 9:00 am with a second Sunday School Hour beginning at 10 am. It’s a good idea to get to Lewis at least ten to 15 minutes before your Worship/Sunday School time to allow for parking. We also have a Fellowship time with coffee and doughnuts in the Fellowship Hall at 9:00 am and Warehouse beginning at 10:40 am.
What about my children?
Lewis has an excellent children’s ministry. Ushers in the Sanctuary or in the Warehouse will help you in getting your smallest children to the nursery. Our nursery cares for babies from six weeks to three years old. Our children’s ministry called “Extended Session” offers classes during all three worship service. Children will be called for during the service and escorted to the Extended Session in the white building next to the cemetery, after the service. Your child will be waiting there for you to pick them up after the Worship service. If you want your child to participate in Communion with you on Communion Sundays, please be sure they pick up a “Bring Me to Communion” Card before your worship service. The leaders in Extended Session will bring your child back to your worship service in time to participate in Communion with you.
