For some, “ministry” is a somewhat intimidating word, and yet ministry is just another word for service, something we are all familiar with. The following list of Ministries at Lewis Memorial are avenues for you to use your spiritual gift in service to the Lord.

Men’s Ministry is the active pursuit of men in order to connect them to God, His Word, and other men for the purpose of winning, growing, and training God’s man in Christ. Learn more about the ministries that help to do just that.

Women’s ministry is all about women offering love, support and encouragement to each other. It is about developing our strengths and gifts, and maturing as Christians into the “fullness of Christ” and growing in our love for God and his word. And it is about developing relationships, deepening our love for each other, so that we are better equipped to help each other and to extend that love and service to all we come in contact with. It is about being Christ to each other.

The goal of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church (LMUMC) Nursery is to provide a safe and loving environment for your children. Because a baby often first experiences church in a nursery setting, we are committed to providing a loving, nurturing atmosphere in our nursery. In this way, all children who enter here will have the opportunity to know and experience, from an early age, the love of God.

Whether you are a child or an adult, singer or instrumentalist, there is a place for you in the Music Ministry at Lewis.

Ministry & teaching through large-group presentations & small-group discussions. Learn more about Adult Opportunities.

Youth ministry is a intended to impact, instruct and disciple youth in what it means to be a Christian, how to mature as a Christian, and how to encourage others to claim Jesus as their Savior. This is accomplished through teaching, relationship building and/or mentoring.

Our Children’s Ministry provides a safe, stable, loving environment to be free to explore and to learn about Jesus Christ. It is our hope to graduate them to UMYF and the Youth Ministries as independent, able to make decisions, purposeful and competent in ministry, to think, to question, to observe the world, its people and Jesus Christ.

On FIRST WEDNESDAYS, the Lewis Memorial family gathers together to share a meal and a cause. Each meal serves as a “fund-raising” event for different ministries of the church. Reservations/Cancellations are a MUST by Noon Monday before the First Wednesday meal, during the school year. Contact to make your family’s reservations.
